Two women have been taken to hospital following a car crash near Market Drayton.
The women, both thought to be in their 20s, were taken to the Leighton Hospital in Crewe after their car overturned and ended up in a field off the B5415 at Napley, near Market Drayton just after 8pm on Monday night.
Two other people in the car were discharged at the scene by ambulance staff.
The crash happened minutes before a second collision, in which a car collided with the vehicle being used by the community first responder on the scene.
The woman driver of the car was shaken but uninjured, and damage to both vehicles was slight.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “When the community first responder arrived, they found a car that had overturned and ended up in a field; the vehicle had suffered extensive damage.
“As the ambulance staff were dealing with the first incident, a second car came round a corner and collided with the car used by the community first responder.
“Fortunately the damage to both vehicles was slight. The woman driver was also uninjured but was shaken by the incident.”
